Overview

With more than 25 years of experience arbitrating and litigating a wide variety of commercial disputes in state and federal courts, Evan B. Klinek serves as Co-General Counsel of Greenspoon Marder LLP and is a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice group.  He joined the firm in 2005.

As Co-General Counsel of the firm, Mr. Klinek advises Greenspoon Marder and its Executive Committee on all areas of professional responsibility and risk management, including issues involving conflicts, ethics, firm policies, compliance issues, firm procedures, contracts, claims management and litigation.

Mr. Klinek is a business-savvy attorney who develops creative solutions for his clients’ most complex problems.  He is an experienced first-chair trial lawyer handling high-stakes matters from inception through trial and appeal.  Mr. Klinek’s diverse practice covers a broad spectrum of legal issues and industries including: admiralty and maritime; aviation; automobile dealerships and financing; contested bankruptcy matters; contract disputes; consumer finance; creditor’s rights and collections; cyber-squatting; fraud and deceptive trade practices; employment law including non-competition agreements; partnership and shareholder disputes; professional negligence and licensing issues; government investigations; complex real estate disputes and workouts; and litigation involving a wide variety of statutory claims.
