Jillian Markowitz is senior counsel in the Real Estate practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. In addition to representing lenders and borrowers in connection with commercial real estate and SBA 7(a) lending, she represents purchasers and sellers of cooperative and condominium apartments, as well as multi-family properties in New York. Her practice also encompasses aspects of copyright law, trust and estate planning, and real estate litigation.
Ms. Markowitz is on the Board of Directors of the Barefoot Shakespeare Company, a New York City-based not-for-profit theater company.
Ms. Markowitz earned her Bachelor’s of Arts degree from The Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University in 2007 and her Juris Doctorate from Hofstra Law School in 2010, where she received special recognition for her outstanding knowledge of intellectual property law.
