Overview

Kristin Stankiewicz is an attorney in the Real Estate and Cannabis Law practice groups at Greenspoon Marder. In her practice, Ms. Stankiewicz has commercial leasing experience representing national and international companies in connection with their leasing and subleasing of office space throughout the United States. A large portion of her practice focuses on negotiating and drafting office and retail leases and subleases for prominent professional services and financial services firms.

Ms. Stankiewicz also has extensive experience representing cannabis and hemp businesses, she focuses on commercial leasing, property acquisition, land use, licensing, and regulatory and compliance issues. Ms. Stankiewicz has an agile understanding of the ever-evolving local and state regulatory frameworks that cannabis businesses must navigate in order to site, develop, license, and maintain compliant cannabis facilities. She works closely with local jurisdictions and state licensing agencies to advocate for sensible regulations so that the cannabis industry has room to flourish. Ms. Stankiewicz has represented cannabis clients since 2009, including medical marijuana patients, medical marijuana dispensaries, hemp businesses and recreational marijuana licensees of all license types. Currently, Ms. Stankiewicz sits on the Executive Committee and acts as the chair of the Regulatory Agencies Sub-Committee of the Oregon State Bar’s Cannabis and Psychedelics Law Section.

Ms. Stankiewicz has two children who keep her busy and endlessly entertained.  She enjoys hiking, skiing, gardening, dancing, yoga, and backcountry adventuring on motorcycles.
