Madison Marder is an associate in the Litigation, Corporate & Business, and Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice groups. Her practice primarily focuses on complex commercial disputes, insurance recovery, and corporate matters. Ms. Marder’s journey with the firm began as a summer associate, where she provided invaluable support to senior partners, assisting them on various corporate and litigation issues.
Since transitioning to her role as an associate, Ms. Marder has successfully assisted with a wide range of legal matters, including class action cases, disability insurance recovery for athletes, intellectual property and trademark disputes, real estate issues, and corporate and transactional matters. Her commitment to delivering high-quality legal services, attention to detail, and willingness to tackle complex issues have made her a valuable asset to both the firm and the clients she supports.
Ms. Marder received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego, School of Law in 2022. During law school, Ms. Marder was the lead legal writer on the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (VICAM) team. The team fosters the development of international legal writing, arbitration, and oral advocacy skills among its members. With Ms. Marder’s leadership, her team received the honor of best memorandum in the 5th Annual Asian International Arbitration Centre Pre-Moot Competition. Further, Ms. Marder was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus and the head representative of BARBRI.
Preceding law school, Ms. Marder earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, and International Studies at San Diego State University, graduating with honors in 2018. During this period, she was a member of numerous national honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Phi Kappa Phi, and Kappa Tau Alpha.
