Overview

Patricija Gegznaite is an associate in the Litigation practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and specializes in complex federal and state court matters, as well as criminal defense.

She has a strong background in drafting substantive pleadings, motions, memorandums, discovery requests, and responses for intricate matters including motions to dismiss, summary judgment, and appellate work. She has conducted extensive legal research and managed key aspects of discovery, such as deposition preparation, conferring with opposing counsel, and document review for multidistrict class action litigation.

In her role prior to Greenspoon Marder, Ms. Gegznaite served as an associate at a Miami-based boutique litigation firm and before that as an assistant public defender, managing over 250 felony, juvenile, and misdemeanor cases from bond hearings, depositions, motion hearings, trials, and appeals. She provided client representation in over 40 depositions, 10 substantive motions, and seven trials.
