New York, N.Y. – June 11, 2021 – Greenspoon Marder partners Mark Fawer and Carolyn Austin will be featured speakers at the Strafford CLE Webinar entitled “Bridge Lending for Commercial Real Estate: Financing for Transitional Properties.” The webinar will take place on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EDT.

This CLE webinar will discuss current uses and structuring alternatives for bridge loans, including senior, mezzanine and preferred equity. The panel will also examine the additional risks and legacy issues associated with transitional properties, and provide guidance on how they can be addressed in bridge financing documentation.

Mr. Fawer focuses his practice on matters including the representation of institutional, fund and private capital sources in every aspect of bridge and subordinate real estate financing, including mezzanine lending, B-notes and preferred equity investments and joint ventures covering every major asset type, such as for rental and for sale residential, hospitality, retail, office, student housing, mixed use and industrial properties.

Ms. Austin regularly handles matters ranging from sophisticated financing transactions representing both lenders and borrowers involving all asset classes and types, to the negotiation of partnership, joint venture, and limited liability company operating agreements, to the drafting and negotiation of leases from both the landlord and tenant perspectives.
