Los Angeles, CA – February 5, 2019 – Greenspoon Marder is proud to support the 2019 Arcview Investor Forum on February 5^th until February 7^th in Los Angeles. The Arcview Investor Forum brings together accredited investors with publicly listed cannabis companies and curated cannabis startups.

Partners, Stephen Lenn and James Mann will be featured speakers at the event. Mr. Lenn will speak on the “Establishing Realistic Yield Upside & Valuation Expectations Before Joining the Green Rush” panel where he will discuss whether there is a “Pot Com Bubble” on the horizon for the cannabis industry and dissect business and operation models. Mr. Mann will speak on the “Navigating the Regulatory, Compliance & Tax Landscape” panel where he will discuss how to make sense of conflicting laws in order to make more informed decisions about potential investments in the cannabis space.

Mr. Lenn has practiced law for almost 40 years, serving in both senior corporate and law firm management positions, counseling clients on business as well as legal issues. Over the past three and a half years, in addition to continuing in a “conventional” corporate, transactional and corporate finance practice, he has been engaged in cannabis industry merger, acquisition and finance transactions involving more than $1 billion, many with multi-state and/or international components.

Mr. Mann has over 25 years of experience serving as a trusted advisor to a broad range of stakeholders in the energy and financial services industries. He counsels clients on the new changes in the tax law, as well as cannabis tax issues. Mr. Mann advises financial institutions regarding international tax, structuring renewable energy asset-based bank loans and securitizations, cross-border tax-advantaged partnerships and securitizations, project finance, and renewable energy deals.
