Mr. Marder is the co-managing director and co-founder of Greenspoon Marder. Since founding the firm in 1981 with partner Gerald Greenspoon, Mr. Marder has focused his practice on complex business litigation, transactional law, and real estate banking & finance. He has extensive experience in hospitality and vacation ownership law and has helped shape the industry over the last four decades. Mr. Marder has represented the interests of the largest privately held timeshare and vacation ownership company in the U.S., as well as numerous other hospitality clients, in a practice that spans all facets of the industry.
Ms. Krimsky is a partner and chair of the nationwide Litigation practice group at Greenspoon Marder. A seasoned commercial litigator and trial attorney, Ms. Krimsky’s practice includes a broad variety of business cases including complex real estate and land use litigation, commercial disputes, fraud-based litigation, class action defense, estate and probate law litigation and marketing, privacy and compliance matters throughout the nation. Her practice includes trial work in both federal and state courts as well as alternative dispute resolution forums such as arbitration proceedings.
Mr. Backman is a partner with the Litigation practice group, focusing his practice on complex class action defense and general commercial litigation. He has defended clients in federal courts throughout the country and is at the forefront of the legal landscape involving the telemarketing industry. He also advises clients in legal compliance matters and defends clients before all regulatory bodies such as the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communication Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and States Attorneys General.
Ms. Dashevsky is a partner and co-chair of the Cannabis Law practice group at the firm, advising clients on legal, regulatory, and legislative developments in the highly regulated and competitive cannabis industry. She is also a seasoned commercial litigator. Ms. Dashevsky represents a range of cannabis clients, including public multi-state operators, state-licensed dispensaries, cultivators, infusers, distributors, new social equity entrants, ancillary businesses, and those looking to enter the cannabis space. Her practice includes nearly every aspect of the cannabis industry, from state-level licensing, real estate, regulatory, and compliance to litigation and M&A.
Mr. Epstein is a partner with the Litigation practice group and co-manages the Firm’s complex litigation and class action defense practice and routinely appears in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the country. Mr. Epstein and his team assist various types of clients with litigation and arbitration involving highly regulated industries including timeshare, sales and marketing, debt relief, labor and employment, contract disputes, and securities.
Mr. McGuire is the New York Managing Partner at Greenspoon Marder with over 30 years of experience focusing his diverse practice on complex civil litigation, white-collar criminal and regulatory proceedings, and international arbitration. Mr. McGuire has successfully tried over 30 cases to verdict and argued over 25 appellate matters before federal and state courts. Mr. McGuire has extensive experience representing major corporations, financial institutions, and individuals both as defendants and plaintiffs in a wide array of cases in federal and state tribunals across the country.
