Two Greenspoon Marder Partners Recognized Among 2020 Southern California Super Lawyers

Los Angeles, CA – January 16, 2020 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that partners James Turken and Jayesh Patel have been recognized among the 2020 Southern California Super Lawyers by Super Lawyers magazine. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Mr. Turken has been ranked since 2004 and Mr. Patel has been ranked since 2005.

James H. Turken is the lead partner in the Litigation practice group of Greenspoon Marder’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Turken is an experienced trial attorney, having tried more than 60 jury trials, along with numerous bench trials and arbitrations nationally. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, intellectual property, trade secrets and market practices, trademarks, copyrights, securities litigation and enforcement defense, construction, and labor and employment litigation.

Jayesh Patel is a partner with the Litigation practice group at Greenspoon Marder. He is a trial litigator focused on complex financial, real estate, and commercial litigation. He often litigates matters that involved business across sovereign borders, particularly in relation to India, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia. He has experience in insurance coverage and professional services risk management as well, helping businesses navigate issues in those areas both on an advisory and litigation basis.
